AEM Cold Air Intake systems create more horsepower than cheaper, inferior cold air intake systems. Only AEM cold air intake systems feature CNC mandrel-bent 6061 aluminum intake pipes that are individually tuned in both length and diameter to maximize power in each application. Every AEM cold air intake is powder coated and has TIG-welded fittings and brackets. For filtration, AEM utilizes its new lightweight urethane, four-layer cotton-gauze filter that features a redesigned air horn that makes an additional 1-3 HP on the AEM Cold Air Induction Systems. A complete hardware kit with soft mounts guarantee a perfect fit every time. All AEM cold air induction systems are C.A.R.B. exempt or pending exemption (50 state legal) and come with complete installation hardware and comprehensive instructions.
All AEM cold air intakes are CAD designed and undergo extensive testing for performance and reliability. Not only proven through dyno testing, but real world testing as well. AEM offers a few different style Cold Air Intake Systems including the AEM Brute Force Cold Air Intake, AEM Short Ram Induction System and the powerful AEM V2 Cold Air Intake System.

AEM Cold Air Intake, AEM Cold Air intake systems relocate the filter outside of the engine compartment for a cooler intake charge and more power over the rpm range.
AEM Ram Air Induction System, the AEM Short Ram cold air Intake systems are an economical under hood alternative to AEM’s Cold Air systems. This short intake stays in the engine compartment.
AEM Brute Force Intake, designed specifically for large displacement engines. Includes exclusive AEM Power Spacer that maximizes performance (when applicable) and stainless-steel heat shield.
AEM V2 Cold Air Intake, the AEM V2 cold air intake utilizes a dual chamber, to create multiple frequency sound waves that help charge the cylinders with air throughout the entire rpm range. With significant power gains, even over the original AEM Cold Air Intake system, the AEM V2 cold air intake is one of the most sophisticated, power producing air induction system on the market. Not all V2 induction systems relocate the filter outside of the engine compartment. In these cases, extensive temperature testing was performed to locate the filter in the coolest area of the engine compartment to achieve the lowest inlet temperatures possible.
