The IS series Injen cold air intake is your traditional under-hood intake that replaces and installs where your factory stock intake is and is certified or pending by the California Air Resource Board. (C.A.R.B.)
The EIS series is a cold air intake extension that adapts on to several of the IS series cold air intake systems. Developed for those looking for the increased power of colder air, but also wants the security of removing the extension during wet conditions.
The RD series (Race Division) cold air intake system is for those looking for more mid-range power. The cold air intake tube is advantageously placed behind the front bumper to acquire colder, denser air. Although most of the RD series is a one-piece design, several are two-piece designs due to the mass air flow meters. Every RD cold air intake system is certified or pending by the C.A.R.B.
