Weapon R cold air intake systems are CNC mandrel bent out of 6061 aluminum, and then hand tig-welded to ensure a positive seal and proper fitment. All of Weapon R’s cold air intake systems are carefully tuned, by matching the engines displacement, air intake capacity and airspeed with the intake system’s tube size and length to maximize the engine’s performance.
Weapon’s most popular cold air intake is their Dragon cold air intake, which is matched with their Dragon Filter. Made from dense polyurethane foam this filter provides more airflow and better filtration when compared to the conventional cotton filters. The Dragon Filter features a velocity stack that greatly increases airflow volume into the engine. Weapon R also designed the Hyper cold air intake which has a dual velocity stack design and ram air capability.
